TWO POINT LATERAL SHUFFLE WITH FRONT PASS
This drill requires a training partner/coach
Set up 2 poles at least 3 yards apart
Coach, stand in front of the poles, equal distance from each pole.
Player, wear your trainer and look into the shield, do not peek. Stand a couple feet to the side and behind the right pole
Shuffle laterally to the left until you see the farther pole with your right periphery, then call for a ball. The coach will send a ball over for you to return (notice the movement in your lower periphery).
Then shuffle to the right until you see the pole in your left periphery, call for a ball and return it
Practice time: 5+ sets
Practice lenses: #1 and #2
Tips:
Slow down as needed to allow yourself to see the movement in your peripheral field of vision

PV21
BACK AND FORTH RUN WITH FRONT PASS
Set up 4 poles with flags in the corners of a large rectangle
Stand between two of the poles (1 and 2) and have your training partner stand 2-3 yards in front of the set up
With your Trainer on look slightly down, then run forward until you notice the second set of poles (3 and 4)
Stop, call for a ball from your coach, receive it and pass it back
Backpedal until you see the starting point poles in your periphery, stop, then repeat the drill
As you progress:
Increase the distance between the poles in each row to encourage the player to notice objects that are farther away on each side
